ChessPadi Terms of Service

To use ChessPadi, you must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to consent to online services). If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

• Account Authentication: You may register an account using Google OAuth or instant email authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and maintain the security of your login sessions.

ChessPadi provides a web-based chess game review companion powered by Stockfish 18 NNUE and artificial intelligence commentary models. The Service enables users to:

• Upload or paste chess game notation in PGN (Portable Game Notation) format or FEN strings.
• Receive automated blunder, mistake, inaccuracy, great, forced, and brilliant move classifications.
• Listen to synchronized, spoken Grandmaster voiceover commentary and explanations.
• Replay positions interactively, inspect evaluation charts, and review turning points.
• Export animated video clips (MP4), self-contained HTML review files, or share permanent review links.

Your Content: You retain ownership of any chess games, PGNs, annotations, or comments that you submit to ChessPadi. By submitting games, you grant ChessPadi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, parse, analyze, and display the game for the purpose of generating your review.

Platform Property: ChessPadi, its visual design, logos, trademarks, proprietary commentary algorithms, UI components, sound synthesis features, and documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of ChessPadi and its licensors. Stockfish is utilized in accordance with its open-source GPL-3.0 license.

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:

• Attempting to circumvent credit quotas, hack, or exploit vulnerabilities in our billing or analysis API.
• Using automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to overwhelm or extract content from the Service without express written consent.
• Interfering with or disrupting the integrity, performance, or security of our servers and networks.
• Using the platform for fraudulent payment schemes or unauthorized commercial resale.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Chess engine evaluations and AI coaching commentaries are mathematical and instructional approximations intended for study and entertainment. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, bug-free, or 100% error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ChessPadi and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or inability to access or use the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend, limit, or terminate your access to ChessPadi at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activities, or created an unreasonable technical burden on our systems.

You may terminate your account at any time by requesting deletion via support@chesspadi.com.

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. The most current version will always be posted at https://chesspadi.com/terms. By continuing to access or use the Platform after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.
